Using KaloScan

You must be at least 16 and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for activity under your account. Do not use KaloScan unlawfully, attempt to bypass usage limits, disrupt the service, reverse engineer protected components, or upload content you do not have the right to use.

Nutrition estimates

AI analysis can be incomplete or inaccurate. Calories, ingredients, portion sizes, allergens, and macronutrients must be independently checked when accuracy matters. Do not rely on KaloScan for medical, allergy, eating-disorder, or emergency decisions. Consult a qualified professional for health advice.

Free and Premium plans

Free usage may be subject to daily limits. Premium features, prices, billing periods, trials, and renewal terms are shown by Apple App Store or Google Play before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through the relevant store. Deleting the KaloScan account or app does not cancel a store subscription.

Your content

You keep ownership of photos and information you provide. You grant KaloScan the limited permission needed to transmit and process that content to provide meal analysis and related features. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may update reasonable usage limits. We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Account suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access for serious misuse, fraud, security threats, or violations of these terms. You can stop using KaloScan at any time and permanently delete your account through the app or our web deletion page.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, KaloScan is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. KaloScan is not liable for decisions made from nutrition estimates or for indirect or consequential losses. Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
